About The Position

Join Ecolab’s Nalco Water Managed Operations group providing onsite reliable and efficient operations while keeping people safe and reducing environmental impact. Collect water samples, perform laboratory testing, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Comply with all OSHA and Company Safety Programs and requirements Handle general maintenance and upkeep around the wastewater plant to ensure well-kept and safe work environment Maintain logbooks, data entry in log sheets, and weekly summaries to Site Manager Inspect plant equipment visually and maintain items such as pumps, meters, and measuring devices Assist in loading sludge trucks Work with chemicals and dosing pumps General mechanical PM and repairs Work a rotating four day 10-hour shift per 7-day work week with occasional call in and overtime Other tasks assigned by the Site Manager About Nalco Water: In a world with increasing water shortage and contamination challenges, Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, helps customers conserve more than 161 billion gallons of water each year. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Basic hand tool selection and use.
  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing vertical ladder
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
  • Applicants should be prepared to work both inside and outside, regardless of the season or weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance, Particularly with Activated Sludge or DAF Operations.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Procedures and Equipment
  • Self-starter
  • Equipment maintenance experience

Responsibilities
