About The Position

Seldin Company is seeking an Apartment Resident Service Coordinator for Woodland Apartments in Woodbine, IA. This is a HUD property with 48 units. This position will pay up to $21.00 an hour, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education. The schedule for this position will be 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in community organizing, social work, or relative support services; or a combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years experience in community organizing or social work; or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to organize and facilitate community events, presentations, and meetings.
• General office skills, proficient with Microsoft, Outlook, and the ability to generate community newsletters, fliers, and correspondences.
• Ability to work nights and weekends for community events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build solid resident relationships and promote successful residencies by providing supportive services.
• Aid the site team in achieving excellent customer service experiences for prospective residents.
• Provide services for existing residents.
• Assist residents in achieving independence and self-sufficiency in accessing services and resources.
• Identify community needs and make resource information available to residents.
• Support aspects of field-level property management.
• Collaborate with staff to meet property needs and resolve resident concerns.
