Indian River Hospital’s 3E Additional Care/Telemetry Overflow Unit cares for cardiac patients and monitors their heart rhythms. As a Resident RN, you will work one-on-one with patients, spending most of your time interacting with them and forming close relationships. On this floor, you will find a supportive, responsive and inclusive team that will encourage you to explore opportunities within the Cleveland Clinic institute and grow your skills as a nurse. A caregiver in this position works nights from 6:45PM – 7:15AM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability). Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
