About The Position

The Resident Relations Agent is responsible for greeting residents and guests, directing calls and maintaining the presentable upkeep of the lobby and common areas daily. The Resident Relations Agent must represent the company and its relations with residents and employees, reflect the attitudes, policies and general personality of the property.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (MRI preferred)
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in property management or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist residents, guests, and vendors in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate information regarding community policies, procedures, and services
  • Resolve resident concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member for resolution
  • Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor at all times
  • Maintain organization of the front office and ensure a welcoming environment
  • Manage office supplies and ensure all areas (leasing, business, and maintenance) are fully stocked at all times (paper, coffee, supplies, etc.)
  • Coordinate monthly inventory of office and common-use supplies
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document management
  • Support team members with day-to-day operational needs
  • Issue and manage parking stickers and renewals
  • Distribute and track visitor parking passes
  • Monitor and enforce parking policies and procedures
  • Address parking-related residents’ concerns and violations
  • Manage pool pass distribution and tracking
  • Maintain contractor key log and ensure proper key control procedures are followed
  • Coordinate pest control services, including scheduling and resident communication
  • Assist with move-in and move-out processes as needed
  • Conduct routine property inspections, including common areas, parking areas, and building exteriors
  • Identify and document violations related to parking, balconies, pets, and occupancy
  • Conduct home inspections in response to resident complaints or reported issues
  • Ensure compliance with community rules, lease agreements, and company policies
  • Communicate violations to residents in a professional and consistent manner
  • Work closely with leasing, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with coordination of resident events and community initiatives when applicable
  • Support property goals related to resident satisfaction and retention
