This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, patient satisfaction, financial performance, and strong client partnership within a high-volume healthcare environment. Location Requirement:This position is based in Macon, GA. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Macon area.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare foodservice, hospital support services, or similar environment
  • Experience leading large teams in a complex, high-volume setting (acute care experience preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and operational performance
  • Proven ability to improve patient satisfaction and operational outcomes
  • Experience working with hospital executives and clinical teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of food & nutrition services, including patient dining, retail, and catering operations
  • Serve as the primary client partner, building strong relationships with hospital leadership and acting as the escalation point
  • Drive patient satisfaction (HCAHPS/Press Ganey), retail performance, and overall service excellence
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Directors, Clinical Nutrition leaders, and department managers
  • Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, food safety standards, and Morrison/Compass policies
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives across patient services, retail, and support areas
  • Partner with Morrison leadership to support retention, client satisfaction, and operational growth
  • Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
