About The Position

Responsibilities and Duties Admit patients to attending physician staff. Manage patients of attending physician staff under attending physician staff supervision. Manage patients of attending physician staff under attending physician staff supervision (this may be on-site direct or off-site indirect supervision) including, perform history and physical exams, write orders, perform procedures, and discharge patients, including writing prescriptions. Participate in all teaching rounds and conferences appropriate to resident physician's level of training and rotation. Participate in community medicine projects. Provide high quality, cost-effective, patient-centered and family-centered care to the patients we serve. Use the communication and interpersonal skills necessary to enhance the function of the health care team of physician, nurse and other professionals. Education M.D. from an accredited medical school; or D.O. from an accredited osteopathic school. Passing score on USMLE or COMLEX Step 1.Passing score on USMLE Step 2 CK and CS or COMLEX Step 2 CE and PE. Certification & Licensure New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation. ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support). Qualifications Signed resident contract.
