As a Resident Physician, the role actively participates in all assigned clinical and clinical activities, maintaining responsibility for providing continuity of care in general or specialty areas. This includes assessing, planning, and providing patient care in collaboration with the Attending Physician, performing comprehensive health assessments, medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writing prescriptions, and formulating treatment plans. The Resident diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions, assists in medical/surgical/OB/ED/ICU care of patients, and evaluates responses in collaboration with the Attending/Consulting Physicians. The Resident will meet milestones for their year of training.
