Provides effective physical therapy care in area of specialty practice. Participates in learner-centered instructional activities in clinical, academic or community settings. Participates in scholarly activities that enhance professional growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
Current Florida Physical Therapy license OR temporary Physical Therapist permit with the requirement of obtaining valid Florida Physical Therapy license within 60 days of date of hire/transfer. During this time, the physical therapist resident must be under the direct supervision of a supervising licensed physical therapist while providing patient care
BLS or ACLS from American Heart Association
less than 1 year patient care experience, experience gained in school during clinical rotations is acceptable
Clinical reasoning & critical thinking
Interprofessional communication skillls, including verbal and written
Fine motor coordination, manual dexterity and psychomotor skills
Time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
