About The Position
Assure appropriate selection, dosing, administration and monitoring of medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Review, verify and enter physician orders into the patient medication profile. Manage medication therapy protocols as a part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team. Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients. Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) and Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) (licensure required within the 1st 90 days).
- Enrolled OR graduate of an accredited Pharmacy degree program required.
