We are seeking a Full-Time Resident Manager for The Doe Fund's newest permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals living with a serious mental illness and/or history of substance use. The housing program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. This 109-unit residence will provide housing for 39 individuals referred by the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA), and the remaining 70 units will be apartments for moderate-income households. The Resident Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the residence during designated shifts. S/he will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met, as well as the safety of the residence. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills along with experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
