As a Resident Hair Specialist, you will provide personalized hair services in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, specializing in styles and techniques that flatter mature hair. The role is about more than just hair - it's about building meaningful connections and providing a valuable service that enhances our resident's well-being and confidence.

Requirements

• Cosmetology License is required.
• Must be licensed for at least 3 years.
• Applicants must possess strong foundational skills in cutting and styling.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to connect with others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with senior clients is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical services and other hair services tailored to the needs of the communities' residents.
• Educate residents on best hair care practices.
• Offer a gentle and patient service, considering mobility and needs.
• Build rapport and maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor with the community.
• Stay up to date on trends and techniques suitable for mature hair: traditional perms, roller sets, teasing, and more.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
