Resident Engineer/Program Manager
About The Position
Rohadfox Construction Management is currently looking for several individuals with expertise in the transit industry. These individuals ideally will live within the Chicago, IL area. RESIDENT ENGINEER Position Description Overview The Resident Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the staff assigned to the Task Order. The Resident Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for the Task Order. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in construction project management. Experience managing work across multiple projects concurrently or complex projects with multiple work locations is a plus, but not required. PROJECT MANAGER The Project Manager is responsible for the overall operations and administration of the CM/OR teams, including its Subconsultants, and will be the individual that leads all Task Order negotiations and responsible for overall team performance. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management. The Project Manager should also have experience managing resources across various projects and must be available on short notice throughout the contract for meetings at various Client facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably a civil discipline (Resident Engineer)
- Registered Professional Engineer; or Certified Construction Manager (or mitigating experience)
- Safety Training (minimum OSHA 10 Hour)
- Primavera/P6, MS Office, Project Manager software
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in construction project management (Resident Engineer)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably a civil engineer) OR Construction Management (Project Manager)
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management (Project Manager)
- Experience managing resources across various projects (Project Manager)
- Must be available on short notice throughout the contract for meetings at various Client facilities (Project Manager)
