About The Position
We have an opening for a full-time "Resident Engagement Assistant ", to plan and carry out small entertainments, parties, educational activities, area tours, shopping trips, games, etc. As a Christian non-profit we are known for providing more, and better activities than residents might find elsewhere. You can be one of the team providing these activities for those who live here. Some specifics, from the job description: Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and documenting activities and programs, as assigned by the supervisor. Participate in an interdisciplinary care team. Complete documentation requirements. Learn & retain knowledge of individual residents' preferences, interests, limitations, and needed adaptations for involvement in group activities and programs and individual activities Summary Immanuel Living is a not-for-profit, Life Plan Community located in Kalispell, MT. Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
- Employee must have experience and knowledge of special populations, including general geriatrics, dementia, physical disabilities, etc.
- Employee must have at least one (1) year working experience in the field of recreation and/or activities in an assisted living setting; however, this may be substituted with additional education or work experience with approval of the Director of Resident Services.
Responsibilities
