About The Position

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, performs laundry, housekeeping and food preparation tasks to assure a safe and healthful living environment for residents of Fairview. Assists cook in the kitchen by serving food, washing dishes, cooking utensils and cleaning food service and preparation areas. Works with residents according to their case plans by assisting them with skill building in domestic services and/or basic self care. Provides other services in support of the health care team. Assists residents in achieving their health, recreational and educational goals.

Requirements

• High School Graduation or equivalent.
• Six months prior experience working in a nursing home, extended care facility, adult foster care home or similar such setting.
• Able to obtain a C.P.R. and First Aid Certification
