About The Position
Oaks Senior Living is seeking dedicated Care Partners / Caregivers for our Oaks at Habersham Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in Pooler, GA. This role is ideal for individuals who want to work in a compassionate environment where both residents and staff are valued and respected. As a Care Partner / Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing individualized physical, psychological, and social support. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as showering, toileting, dressing, transferring, and walking, all while promoting their dignity and well-being. In this position, you will arrive for each shift with a commitment to treating each resident with kindness and respect. Building positive relationships with residents is essential, as you will spend significant one-on-one time with them. You will work collaboratively with your team to respond promptly to resident calls and maintain accurate records as required. Encouraging residents to participate in meals, assisting with serving, and ensuring their individual needs are met are also key aspects of your role. You will observe and report any changes in residents' appetites or physical abilities, and assist with cleaning the dining area post-meal service. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including residents' apartments, is a top priority. You will adhere to infection control policies and safety precautions to ensure the highest quality of care. Vigilance in reporting any changes in residents' conditions and protecting their confidentiality is paramount. At the end of each day, you will leave feeling fulfilled, knowing that you have enriched the lives of residents in your community and provided them with purpose and meaning in their daily lives.
