You follow established processes — and when improvement is needed, you elevate it thoughtfully and within regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

For Massachusetts (MA): Current Massachusetts RN or LPN License in good standing
1-year verifiable experience in Home Care or Assisted Living
Knowledge of aging and disability issues
For Connecticut (CT): Current Connecticut Registered Nurse License in good standing
One of the following: BSN with 2+ years full-time clinical experience (including 1 year in home health/community health), OR Diploma/Associate degree with 4+ years full-time clinical experience within past 10 years (including 1 year in home health/community health)
Knowledge of aging and disability issues

Responsibilities

Ensuring exceptional quality of resident care through clear standards, monitoring, and accountability
Overseeing the entire medication delivery system with precision and consistency
Conducting initial and ongoing resident assessments with accuracy and clinical insight
Evaluating medical concerns and coordinating care with providers and ancillary services
Interpreting policies and regulations for nursing staff — ensuring full compliance
Supervising Resident Care Aides (RCAs) with clear expectations and consistent follow-up
Providing hands-on competency training with return demonstrations
Leading recruitment, onboarding, and in-service education for the nursing team
Serving as a trusted liaison to families, healthcare agencies, hospitals, and emergency teams
Handling emergency situations calmly and efficiently
Participating in on-call rotation
