About The Position
Avista Senior Living—A beautiful senior living community in Mapleton, Utah, is seeking to better the lives of our wonderful residents. We are focused on providing personalized quality care through hope, compassion, and dedication to excellence! We are currently looking to hire a passionate and service- minded leader to serve as our Resident Care Coordinator and become a key member of our health services team! Our ideal applicant will have a Medication Tech certification and have previous experience in an assisted living community. What will make this individual successful? Leading with optimism. Requirements
- Must have current CNA, MED TECH CERTIFICATON and experience caring for elderly residents in an assisted living or nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
- Filling other gaps in Caregiver/Med Tech schedule, as needed fill in for regular shifts.
- Maintaining Caregiver/Med Tech schedule.
- Assisting with new hire training as assigned by the administration.
- Maintaining MAR, handling communication regarding medications, cycling medications, and maintaining an organized medication cart.
- Coordinating with Home Health and Hospice Companies.
- Organize and help with medical transports
- Maintaining shift change notes.
- Communicating regularly with administration.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned by Head RCC
