We are currently seeking the right person to join our growing team as a Resident Care Coordinator - Scheduler for our Health Services Department. As the Resident Care Coordinator - Scheduler, you are responsible for creating and maintaining the team member staffing schedule for our Assisted Living and Memory Care departments. The scheduler will also be responsible for calling team members to fill open shifts. In addition to the scheduling, this position does include mentoring new hires. Mentoring the new hires will include making sure they have completed their learning checklists, completed the required training, and connecting them with trainers and mentors. This does require being on-call along with a rotation of being on-call on the weekends. This will support three (3) shifts with 60+ employees, and we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This team member will fill in with resident care as needed. We are looking for a person who is dynamic at creating a team environment, inspires people, has a positive attitude, jumps in when needed, is great at follow-up and has fantastic organizational skills. Sets goals for the department and helps the team achieve the goals. Must be a team player.

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • At least 1 year of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting is required
  • At least 6 months’ experience as a care partner or med aide
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and capability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to multitask
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities
