About The Position

Gray Birch at MaineGeneral Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (CNA) to join our skilled and long-term care team. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating resident care, and serving as a resource for both residents and staff. Requirements

• An active Maine CNA certification is required
• Valid Maine driver's license required
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors.
• Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
• Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Performs responsibilities of certification or licensure.
• Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
• Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
• Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.
