Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, families, and the community at our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center. We provide compassionate care for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, using a multidisciplinary approach to help them thrive. As a Resident Care Attendant, you'll support residents under the direction of Nurse Managers, delivering personalized care that promotes fulfilling, enriched lives. Schedule: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Full-time available)
Requirements
- Strong emotional intelligence and judgment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the care team.
- Flexibility and integrity in diverse care situations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CPR / Basic Life Support certification (training provided).
Nice To Haves
- CNA Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise residents and ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Engage residents in age-appropriate, therapeutic activities.
- Assist with lifting and transferring residents.
- Support on-site and off-site activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment.
