Lathrop Community, a retirement community grounded in Quaker values and a commitment to enhancing the experience of aging, has an opening for a part-time Resident Care Aide (CNA or HHA) for the evening shift (4p-10p). This position is an average of 15 hours each week, on a rotating two-week schedule pattern that includes holidays and weekends. In addition to a competitive hourly compensation of $20.50, benefits for this position include enrollment in Lathrop’s 403(b) retirement plan and access to the Employee Assistance Program. You will be a key part of an important department at Lathrop, forming relationships with staff, residents, and their family members as you support the residents who live in apartments at the Inn. Lathrop Community is an independent living community, offering a more structured environment for residents in the Inn, where you will work. This is a special opportunity to join a mission-driven organization in a position that allows you to use your Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide skills and experience in a beautiful setting and with a well-established team of wellness aides. If you’re looking for a job where you can use your CNA or HHA skills to support residents in being as independent as possible, we want to hear from you! Your application will be reviewed by our HR Manager, who will reach out for a phone screen if interested and schedule an in-person interview with a leader from the Wellness department. If you and that leader agree that this is the right fit, all employees have to agree to a CORI background check and pass a pre-employment physical prior to their first day.
