About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated people to provide services to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, administering medication reminders, escorting residents to and from meals or activities, performing light housekeeping, laundry, and changing bed linens, assisting with grocery shopping, and supporting dining services as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to work evenings and possibly some weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a CNA or HHA in good standing.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Compassionate and patient with a desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services as outlined such as assistance with activities of daily living, assisting a resident to self-administer medications (SAMM), and escorting a resident to and from meals or activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and change bed linens for the resident as indicated on their service plan and as needed.
• Assist with grocery shopping including assisting the resident with compiling a grocery shopping list, pickup, and delivery of groceries.
• Assist Dining services as needed with food preparation, dining room set up, cleaning, meal service, table bussing, washing of tableware.
