About The Position

The Residential Care Aide at Priority Place is responsible for providing essential health care and personal hygiene services to residents in a supportive living environment. This role requires a commitment to quality care and interaction with residents, ensuring their needs are met while reporting any changes in their condition to the supervising staff. The position is available for both full-time and part-time shifts, with a focus on maintaining a safe and caring atmosphere for residents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CNA license or CBRF Certified in the State of Wisconsin
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• 1 year of caregiver experience
• Knowledge of Point Click Care Software (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Dependability, respectfulness, patience, and compassion.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Point Click Care Software

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care of mouth, skin, hair, and bathing.
• Assist residents with transferring and ambulation when required.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as taught by health personnel.
• Prepare meals and assist residents with eating when necessary.
• Perform household services essential to health care at Priority Place.
• Assist residents with bathroom use or use of bedpan.
• Assist residents with self-administration of medications.
• Provide simple wound care without medicated creams.
• Report changes in residents' conditions and needs.
• Complete appropriate records using PointClickCare before the end of shift.
