About The Position
Resident Assistant Valley View Retirement Community Part-Time • Shifts: 7AM - 3PM • Every other weekend/holiday Valley View is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to support the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. In this meaningful role, you’ll provide personal care, assist with meals and activities, and help create a safe, welcoming environment where older adults can thrive. Requirements
- A compassionate, respectful approach to resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
- Dependability and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or senior living experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support based on individualized resident service plans
- Respond promptly to emergency call systems and resident needs
- Assist with meals, dining room setup, and cleanup
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment
- Support social and recreational activities while encouraging resident participation
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, preferences, or health status
- Assist with housekeeping, laundry, snacks, and beverages as needed
