Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our beautiful location is just minutes from The Ridgedale Mall, St Louis Park, and near Highways 394 and 494 while close to public transportation. Managed by Ebenezer, we boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.Oversees Resident Centered Care. We are looking for a Resident Assistant whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living/memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our busy senior living in Minnetonka, MN. In the position one will be provided on the job medication passing training and be expected to pass medications. This part-time caregiver schedule includes; 40 hours per two weeks evening shift: 5:00pm-9:00pm Week 1- Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun Week 2- Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri every other weekend (saturday/sunday) rotation and rotating holiday

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
• CNA certificated if under 18

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course

Responsibilities

• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with onboarding of new staff
