We are looking for a Resident Assistant whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living/memory care residents' physical and emotional well-being for our busy senior living in Forest Lake, MN. Ebenezer provides medication passing training upon hire for this role. This caregiver/home health aide schedule includes; casual / on call day/evening/overnight shift minimum of 3 shifts per month

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
• CNA certificated if under 18

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
• Assists with onboarding of new staff
