About The Position

Ebenezer is hiring a Resident Assistant for one of its newest senior living communities in River Falls, WI. This caregiver position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.
The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area. Located in River Falls, WI
Part-time schedule, 32 hours in two weeks, Day shifts. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. Eligible for partial benefits such as paid time off and matching retirement.

Requirements

• Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines.
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: Bathing/showering; Foot and fingernail care; Shaving; Dressing; Assistance with use of hearing aids and/or glasses; Hair care; Feeding; Toileting; Escorts; 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lift
• Provides health-related services as directed
• Performs specified home services
• Follows cleaning schedule for the shift worked.
• Delivers meal trays.
• Assists with meal service in dining room.
• Assists with preparing for and/or facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned and as requested.
• Observes tenants/residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Notifies appropriate staff of changes in physical and/or emotional conditions such as change in attitude or mood, loss of appetite, change in weight.
• Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment
• Offers pertinent observations and input.
• Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
• Demonstrates proper resident care procedures
