About The Position
As a Resident Assistant at The Meadows of Wadena, you will be challenged and rewarded in your work assisting residents with their daily living tasks. You will be part of a supportive and hard-working team making a difference in the lives of our seniors. If you enjoy helping others and want to make a real impact in the lives of seniors, then this is the position for you. Job responsibilities include assisting residents with personal cares as scheduled; performing housekeeping duties; observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition; assisting with meals as directed; and passing medications and supervising resident self-administration. While previous experience is welcome for this entry level position, it isn't required as we are willing to train you to be a successful member of our team! Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed and respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents. In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
