About The Position

The Student Experience Resident Assistant/Office Intern is a Part Time (10 - 15 hour per week) role, responsible for administrative/office duties. He/She plays an integral role in ensuring a high-level of student satisfaction with regard to all student experience. The work schedule includes Saturday and Sunday (2 - 4 hours), with flexible hours Monday - Friday (2 - 5 hours each day between Regular Business Hours of 8:30 am - 5 pm). The start date is ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Check students in and out of rooms, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Provide a comfortable introduction and campus tour for new students.
  • Get to know all students in dorm and ensure they understand and follow Kings Education Rules.
  • Coordinate with campus facilities or outside cleaning service to ensure rooms are clean and set up for new student arrivals.
  • Support students with any maintenance requests.
  • Create the monthly calendar based on campus, neighborhood, and NYC activities.
  • Organize student activities and assist students with campus activities.
  • Lead and/or chaperone on-and off-campus activities and excursions.
  • Inventory the items for student activities.
  • Build relationships with students.
  • Greet office visitors, answer phones, and check emails.
  • Scan and coordinate all orientation documentation.
  • Perform any administrative tasks as assigned.
