About The Position
Join our not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment. The position involves providing care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform according to location standards, procedures and individualized resident care plans. Dependent on the location, participates in structured training sessions to acquire skills to obtain certification to provide a higher level of resident care. The role includes assisting residents with outerwear or shoes, ensuring their spiritual needs are met, passing snacks and trays, pouring beverages, and maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere. Additionally, the position requires safeguarding residents' property, keeping living areas pleasant and orderly, and providing opportunities for independence and choice consistent with their care plans. Documentation of care provided, observing and reporting residents' conditions, and maintaining positive relationships with residents' friends and family members are also key responsibilities.
