About The Position
This position is Full Time Evenings 3-11p Here at St. Peter's Health Partners, we care for more people in more places. The resident assistant is integral to care delivery at our unique assisted living facility. As a direct care staff, become a part of a team and engage individuals in our quaint, residential setting. Experience working with the elderly is a plus! Terrace at Beverwyck is an Assisted facility where you can bring joy and compassionate care to the aging population.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Sincere desire to work with elderly population.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with the elderly is a plus!
- Experience with cognitively impaired Residents a plus!
Responsibilities
- Engage with residents to live full, active lives.
- Promoting Resident independence.
- Patiently participate with residents and assist as necessary with activities of daily living and medication management.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment that serves individuals who do not meet the skilled-nursing criteria of a nursing home placement.
- Laundry and Resident shower assistance.
- Setting up dining room for breakfast service.
- Minimal shift documentation
- Communicating observations in daily shift report
