The Center for Youth's multiple transitional living programs (TLP); Arnett House, Chrysalis House, New Beginning House, and the Devonshire Apartments, all provide independent living supports and services to homeless youth ages 16-24 7 days a week and all year round. The TLP Resident Assistant (RA) Float position provides on-site engagement and support that is strength-based and mutually respectful. Residents are approached from an asset-based perspective so that staff can form partnerships that help facilitate the identification of issues, concerns, and needs and then the strategies required to address them. The ultimate goal of the team is to provide transitional care and support to homeless youth in a safe, respectful environment and to work with them to resolve the issues which led to their homelessness so that they can ultimately, secure and maintain a stable living environment. The TLP RA Float position is based at the TLP Devonshire Apartment program, and provides support and coverage at the other TLP sites as needed. This is a full-time, 12-month position. 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
