As a RESIDENT ASSISTANT/CNA, your work is essential to providing for the daily needs and activities of Morning Pointe residents. Responsibilities
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
- Assisting residents with meals and snacks
- Assisting with setup, service and feeding if necessary
- Performing housekeeping duties as necessary
- Accomplishing tasks outside of normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for residents
- Participating in training opportunities and offering help to other areas and staff in need
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- A 'can do' attitude
