About The Position

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking genuine, kind, and compassionate people who want to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who live with disabilities or mental illness as a Resident Aide (RA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Wesley Residence located in West Duluth provides assisted living services to people needing personalized support and people who want to age with dignity and a full life. This beautiful, classic building originally served as the hospital to the local, West Duluth community. We offer 43 private rooms staffed by caring and educated professionals who provide personalized services. This location offers customized living tailored to each individual, as well as a variety of unique amenities. We serve aging adults, adults with mental health disabilities and adults with physical disabilities at this location. It is our mission to offer a warm assisted living setting with caring and educated staff where we provide personalized services and an exceptional standard of living.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Be able to pass a MN DHS Background Study
• Every other weekend availability required
• Previous PCA or CNA experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide routine individualized care to the residents
• Monitor and report changes in resident health status
• Provide personal care, such as bathing
• Provide specialized healthcare, such as administering medications, checking vitals and blood sugars
• Assisting with room cleans and serving meals
