About The Position

Exercises judgment and problem solving to execute activities and support learning opportunities through the coordination, tracking and support of project management of programs and projects of varying scope. Partners with Residency Leadership, physician partners and administrative specialists to execute initiatives and projects, including supporting quality improvement, monitoring the implementation and execution of HPMG programs, and managing the end-to-end process of projects. Facilitates and coordinates project timelines and accountabilities for effective process improvement initiatives that improve graduate medical education. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Communications or related field; or equivalent combination of experience.
  • 6 years administrative assistant or related clerical, administrative and program support experience effectively working with highly educated professionals and leaders.
  • 2 years of project management support.
  • Must possess reliable personal transportation to travel to other facilities and offices for meetings or events.
  • Must possess strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) to interact professionally and effectively with physician leaders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within healthcare industry/professional development department, including undergraduate, graduate and continuing medical education is preferred.
  • Supervisory/lead or project management experience is preferred.
  • Care delivery operations experience is preferred.
