About The Position

The Residency Program Coordinator for Vascular Surgery/HPM is responsible for providing daily support for all educational programs within the residency service line. This role involves guiding residents, fellows, and medical students, while assisting the Residency Program Director in policy development and ensuring compliance with external review agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
  • 1-3 years of healthcare administration experience, including a minimum of 1 year in graduate medical education.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Complete familiarity with computers and database management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs within the residency program service line.
  • Guide and direct residents, fellows, and Jefferson Medical College students within the residency program.
  • Assist the Residency Program Director and Assistant Program Director in planning and developing policies and procedures for educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all external review agencies.
