Green Country Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Residency Counselor to join our team! This position is responsible for working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to successfully build occupancy thru sales and move ins. Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing in generating inquiries, handling prospects, conducting tours, entering and utilizing data entered into the lead management system and other activities necessary to achieve budgeted census goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred).
  • Two years’ experience in marketing/sales.
  • One year experience in senior housing or healthcare-related field.
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid presentation skills (small and large group)
  • Strong closing skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and implement lead-generation activities that result in generating sufficient qualified inquiries to meet move-in goals.
  • Handle inquiries to the community via phone or drop-in. Must be able to quickly establish rapport and complete a thorough discovery to address prospect needs.
  • Follow the ExSell with LCS sales process and utilization of ExSell Connection Sheets.
  • Conduct tours of the property. Able to effectively overcome objections and ask for the sale.
  • Conduct personal follow-up with variety of prospects. Able to identify and make recommendations for addressing objections/needs.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry into the lead management system on a daily basis.
  • Keep up-to-date on competition including their strengths and weaknesses. Identify ways to overcome any objections.
  • Actively participate in any in-house marketing events.
  • Actively participate in generating resident and prospect referrals
  • Actively participate in any community outreach efforts.
  • Meets and exceeds personal sales expectations
  • Manages the sales process from initial inquiry to residency by effectively promoting the community to the prospect.
  • Facilitates the process by understanding needs and independently making recommendations based on key information provided.
  • Negotiates obstacles and issues by understanding client needs and collaborating with community management.
  • Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner
  • Independently manages prospect inquiries and ensures that timely follow through is maintained in accordance with designated time frames
  • Utilizes Salesforce effectively by promptly inputting data and uses the system to manage assigned lead base
  • Uses Direct Sales Performance Indicators (DSPI’s) to set goals and independently diagnose areas of strength and needed improvement
  • Generates adequate presentations by effective prospecting. This can include phone outs, referral generation, use of e-mail, home visits, etc.
  • Staffs the office to meet business needs which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Communicates with key influencers to facilitate a timely commitment to the community
  • Participates in marketing events as directed by the Marketing and Sales Director
  • Understands and articulately represents all documents related to residency, including Residency Agreement, Disclosure Statement, etc.
  • Provides feedback to community leadership regarding information learned through the sales process that can impact strategies to grow occupancy.
  • Assumes responsibilities for personal work areas and maintaining areas in a presentable manner
  • Implements Extraordinary Impressions best practices in the marketing office and influences hospitality focused environment throughout the community
