Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a physically active environment

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive and supportive team culture
• Follow direction from leadership while maintaining a strong work ethic
• Clean all guest rooms to established standards
• Strip and remake beds with fresh linens
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Vacuum rugs, floors, and guest room hallways
• Clean mirrors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light switches
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and fixtures
• Wash tiles, tubs, and shower walls
• Wipe shower curtains and polish surfaces
• Restock towels, washcloths, soap, and guest amenities
• Ensure guest room materials are properly placed (menus, comment cards, etc.)
• Check lamps, drapes, and room features for proper condition
• Verify heating and air conditioning units are functioning correctly
• Replace mattress pads and blankets as needed
• Restock stationery and in-room supplies
• Report when rooms are clean and ready for guests
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Stock storage rooms and maintain organized supply areas
• Prepare and stock housekeeping carts and caddies
• Follow all cleaning procedures and chemical usage guidelines
• Maintain knowledge of proper care for a variety of surfaces
• Understand and perform required roles during emergency situations
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
