About The Position
Rising Ground, a leading nonprofit human services organization, provides children, adults, and families in the greater New York City area, with the resources and skills needed to help them rise above adversity and positively direct their lives. In our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services department, we provide habilitation and recreational services, job training for meaningful work, and supported housing for those who need assistance to live in the community. Our goal is to help people pursue their dreams, so they can thrive and grow. The Residential Manager oversees the operation of two Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA), which are group homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities, under the oversight of the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
