Through a culture of care, in partnership with residential students, we provide well-maintained housing and cultivate supportive, learning-centered communities. Residence Hall Managers have primary responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and management of a residence hall that houses between approximately 250 to 450 students. This includes the training and supervision of a staff of 14 Resident Assistants, incorporation of the mission, vision and core values of University Housing into the operation of the residence hall, implementation of university and departmental policies and procedures, facilitating the programming model, and administrative responsibilities including serving on departmental committees. The Residence Hall Managers work with students to develop a sense of community in their residence hall through programming, daily student interaction and active participation in the overall Residence Life program. This is a live-in position, meaning staff members are provided a furnished apartment, meal plan, and upgraded reserved parking space.
