The Reset Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and executing various aspects of the Maintenance Division’s maintenance operations. This position will program equipment for repair into shops and manage the resources (personnel, repair parts, facilities, tools) in order to complete all repairs/services IAW contract requirements. Must be highly qualified with general supervisory experience and must have specific management experience in maintenance shop operations and in-depth technical knowledge concerning the repair of Army Material. The period of performance for this position is not to exceed more than one year, may extend to fulfil mission requirements.

Requirements

Must have an associate degree or equivalent experience in Maintenance Logistics and Military Maintenance Operations.
Above average knowledge of the logistic information polices, process and system that pertain to Maintenance, Supply and Services, and Transportation Services.
Knowledge and experience with Logistic Information System, such as Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)/FEDLOG.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and SharePoint is required.
Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully pass a NACI background investigation.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Must have a minimum of five years of military Maintenance Logistics experience.
Requires a general familiarity with computer input elements to perform functional activities such as data entry, data verification, transaction preparation and reprocessing of corrections.
Must be proficient in GCSS-Army, Microsoft Office applications, and Army Enterprise Portal (AESIP) applications.
Organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills, possessing basic proficiency in English language (reading & writing).
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of supply and services, and transportation operations.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Army governing regulations, policies and procedures.
Must possess the ability to understand operating procedures, work Instructions, Army regulations, military and commercial technical manuals, and applicable Department of Defense forms.
Must be able to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Must be able to interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Must be capable of dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Must be able to accurately input data.
Must have the ability to work independently and in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with subordinates, peers and senior personnel.

Responsibilities

Program equipment for repair into shops and manage the resources (personnel, repair parts, facilities, tools) in order to complete all repairs/services IAW contract requirements.
Oversees inspection, maintenance and repair tasks for work orders equipment.
Provides technical assistance for the diagnostics, inspection and repair of equipment.
Prepares labor and parts estimates toward the cost of repairs.
Supervises equipment testing procedures.
Identifies repair part requirements using the appropriate technical manuals.
Tests equipment to ensure proper operation.
Prioritizes maintenance workloads and determines priorities.
Ensures work orders are maintained as prescribed in accordance with current regulations.
Serves as conduit for work initiation and completion.
Tracks, analyzes and reports metrics related to project performance and man power utilization.
Prepares and maintain required production reports.
Plans, directs and manages personnel and required resources.
Manages timecard approval processing to ensure accuracy.
