The Reset Merchandiser is responsible for completing section plan-o-gram work on a scheduled weekly basis within a grocery store environment. This role involves reading and understanding plan-o-grams, collecting new item tags and products, preparing the work area, systematically breaking down sections to allow customer access, re-positioning shelving, and placing products according to updated schematics. The merchandiser is also expected to clean up the work area, complete necessary forms, and report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain professionalism and helpfulness with customers, and foster good relationships with store management and staff. Compliance with KOMPASS employee guidelines regarding timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication, and clocking procedures is essential. Safe lifting practices are mandatory. During times of reduced regular scheduled hours, such as holidays or urgent customer support needs, employees may be required to provide additional store support beyond their typical essential job functions.
