About The Position

To complete section plan-o-gram work on a scheduled weekly basis in a grocery store environment. The position involves reading and understanding plan-o-grams, collecting necessary materials, preparing the work area, breaking down sections, repositioning shelving, and placing products according to updated schematics. Employees must maintain a clean work area, complete forms, and report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors. The role requires professionalism and helpfulness when dealing with customers, as well as compliance with guidelines established for KOMPASS employees. Employees may also be responsible for additional store support during periods of reduced regular scheduled hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
• A smartphone with internet/data access is required
• Must provide personal tape measure and safety gloves

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plan-o-grams
• Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags, and new item products
• Prepare work area to complete section reset

• Work independently with little supervision
• Maintain good relationships with store management and staff
• Comply with guidelines regarding timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication, and clocking in/out
• Practice safe lifting
