About The Position

The Reservoir Attendant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities at the reservoir to ensure compliance with the Town of Timnath's Reservoir Policy. This role includes supervising seasonal staff, maintaining the reservoir, operating watercraft, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position requires certifications in Aquatic and Nuisance Species, Colorado Boating Safety, CPR, and First Aid, which will be provided upon hire. The supervisor will work both weekdays and weekends, with varying hours throughout the year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Supervising experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License.
• Ability to handle personnel or public conflicts professionally.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working at a public reservoir.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and marine radios.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate seasonal staff.
• Ensure seasonal staff complete required trainings.
• Inspect and follow all Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) protocols for all watercraft entering the reservoir.
• Greet permit holders and visitors, verifying permits and selling day passes as needed.
• Operate the town leased boat for inspection of water conditions and assisting users as necessary.
• Monitor reservoir cleanliness and perform minor repairs to facilities.
• Collect weekly water samples and record user activities on-site.
• Supervise compliance with town policies both onshore and on the water.
• Inspect the Timnath Community Park shelter on weekends.
