Federated Insurance is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated, data hungry individual to join our team in the role of Reserving Specialist. In this newly developed role, you will retrieve, organize, and review data to ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency of use. You will collaborate with our Property & Casualty Actuarial team to develop statistical analyses that ensure data and report accuracy. These analyses support critical business decisions. Insurance and actuarial knowledge is not a requirement of this position. Federated provides exceptional 1 on 1 training to get you up to speed on insurance and actuarial specific knowledge that will be used in this role.
Requirements
- Four year degree in business, accounting, mathematics or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Mathematical competence and the ability to understand and utilize computer programming languages.
- Strong computer knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities
