About The Position

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Reserve Security Officer position you will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premise at a variety of client sites. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. If your schedule and availability are flexible, and you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Requirements

18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience highly preferred.
