About The Position

L3Harris is currently seeking a part-time Security Guard for their Camden, NJ location. This position is a part-time and bargaining unit represented role. Part-time Guards are required to work all shifts, Monday – Sunday, and must be available for weekday evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is $18.65 with no Health or Welfare benefits.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Must be a US Citizen
Obtain and maintain DoD secret security clearance.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact in a positive and diplomatic manner.
Must possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Outlook, etc.
Ability to work independently.
Must be available for weekday evenings and weekends.
Must be available to work different shifts Sunday-Saturday.
Must have a flexible schedule.
Must properly wear company provided uniform.

Nice To Haves

Prior Security Guard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe and secure working environment for L3Harris employees, tenants, guests, and facility.
Ensure parking patrons are not interfering with or prohibiting employee departure and arrival to the facility.
Patrol building perimeter via foot, or vehicle.
Monitor building entries and exits.
May be required to perform Entry Control and administrative duties.
Operate access control and alarm system.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
