About The Position

The Reservations Agent is responsible for receiving and converting reservation calls into closed sales for various services at the property, including lodging, tee times, spa services, food and beverage, and general revenue inquiries. The role requires a guest-driven service style with a friendly and urgent approach to interactions with members and guests. The agent will manage bookings, operate various reservation technologies, and provide accurate information regarding services and activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (AA) or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English to communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Google applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Springer Miller or other Reservation Software.
  • Hotel, Resort, or Golf Club related operations and sales experience.
  • Previous experience at a High End Luxury Golf Community and Resort.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a guest-driven style of service with an upbeat, friendly sense of urgency.
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls, delivering proper options to meet guest needs.
  • Ensure accurate booking of all reservations, tee times, spa services, and dining reservations.
  • Operate reservation systems including Springer Miller, TOCK, Navis Narrowcast, Jonas, OpenTable, Alice, EZlinks, Revinate, and Expedia Partner Central.
  • Keep notes on all transactions and reservations made for guests and members.
  • Arrange and confirm recreation, business, and dining activities both inside and outside the Resort.
  • Answer inquiries with accurate information on directions, car rentals, transportation services, and airlines.
  • Assist members and guests with questions regarding packages offered or charges incurred.
  • Understand sales and upsell services as appropriate.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Reservations area.
  • Perform clerical duties such as mailing, faxing, message taking, typing, and emails.
  • Manage workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
  • Assist the Front Desk when needed.
  • Responsible for Fractional and Whole Ownership Booking Processes and Tracking.
  • Prepare and update various reports as assigned by the Reservations Manager.
  • Resolve customer service issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Attend staff meetings conducted by the Reservations Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Maintain a professional standard at Juniper Preserve.
