About The Position

Corpay is seeking a Reservation Specialist for its Lodging division, specifically within the CLC line of business, located in Schaumburg, IL. This role involves the timely and efficient handling of inbound inquiries to source hotel needs for clients and their crews. The specialist will take ownership of each case from beginning to end, resolving system-related issues efficiently and liaising with other departments for swift problem resolution. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and involves regular collaboration with related teams. This is an onsite role at the client's office in Schaumburg, IL, where Corpay provides an assigned workspace, company-issued equipment, and formal, hands-on training.

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, night, weekends and national holidays
• High School Diploma or higher qualification is required

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in preferably one/two more languages (Italian, German, French, Spanish is preferred)
• One year experience of hotel/travel industry experience is preferred
• 1 to 2 years of call center, reservation desk or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound inquiries to source hotel needs of clients for their crew and management
• Ensuring Reservations consistency and execution between multiple systems and channels utilized in the booking process
• Obtaining, evaluating, and providing accommodations and transportation according to client guideline, requirements and SOPs
• Effectively utilizing all Customer Service tools and technology to process, track and report transaction
• Professionally responding to all clients and/or vendors and escalate issues, complaints or service disruptions according to procedures
• Updating and maintaining company database with client transactions and sourcing inventories
• Providing continual feedback on customer service processes and Interacting with internal departments
• Supporting other duties/projects as needed
• Required to travel to Florida when our client requests our staff to be present
