This position involves executing experimental studies in support of ongoing projects investigating the neural pathways of the Gut-Brain Axis that regulate motility, pain, and inflammation. Responsibilities include assisting in the design and planning of experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and communicating results to lab team members. Specific techniques include in vivo and ex vivo calcium imaging and optogenetic approaches in transgenic mouse models, motility assays, dissections, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.
